In addition to being in line with the objectives of achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDG's), this training is also in order to fulfill the requirements of the 2012 Hospital Accreditation (JCI) especially in fulfilling the MDG's Targets, as stated in the opening of the PONEK training at RSU Surya Husadha on February 6, 2017, which was officially opened by the President Director, dr. Dian Sulistyawati, MM in Denpasar.
This training is intended to assist hospitals in preparing competent human resources in providing comprehensive maternal neonatal emergency services and empowering hospitals as referral centers for maternal and child services.
Specifically, this training is intended to provide or improve the competence of doctors, midwives and nurses in maternal neonatal emergency services.
To ensure the effectiveness of the implementation of training results in each hospital, each hospital in the Surya Husadha environment has a complete team consisting of Obgyn specialist doctors, pediatricians, anesthesiologists, general practitioners, midwives, and nurses. This 4-day training is packaged in the form of Tutorials, Case Studies, Discussions, Field Practice (On The Job Training).
