Hospital accreditation is an effort to improve the quality of service carried out by building a quality system and culture. Through accreditation, it is expected that there will always be improvements in the system both at the input, process, output and outcome levels of service and customer safety in general.

RSU Surya Husadha Ubung as an institution engaged in the field of health services including promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative activities will always and always prioritize quality and safety in providing services, one of its efforts is by trying its best to meet the service standards as required in the provisions of Hospital Accreditation.

The implementation of the 2012 version of the Hospital Accreditation standard, in addition to aiming to improve the quality of service, also demonstrates compliance with government regulations as stated in Law no. 44 of 2009 concerning Hospitals. In February 2015, for the first time, RSU Surya Husadha Ubung received the First Level Accreditation (One Star) and is the only hospital to hold that predicate in Indonesia.

It doesn't feel like 2 years have held the title, in 2017, Surya Husadha Ubung Hospital was again surveyed for the second verification and also as preparation for Recertification in 2018 so that the Accreditation rating to be held will increase, this is in accordance with the provisions of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 44 of 2009 article 40, which states, "In an effort to improve the quality of hospital services, periodic accreditation must be carried out at least once every 3 (three) years".

This verification survey focuses on the assessment of the implementation of Accreditation standards carried out by interviewing patients and their families, Hospital Management and Staff and patient visitors. Observations of service activities to see compliance with existing SOPs and physical evidence, both in the form of documents and hospital facilities and input related to the preparation for 2018 recertification.

The survey was conducted for 2 days on February 9-10, 2017 by the Surveyor Team from the Hospital Accreditation Committee (KARS). Dr. NP Dian Sulistyawati, MM as the President Director of PT Surya Husadha said that with this verification survey, she hopes that the system, tasks and responsibilities will continue to be monitored and become the basis for continuous improvement.

Thus, RSU Surya Husadha Ubung will be able to continue to provide the best service with standards that have been determined by the government for the satisfaction of patients and their families who need assistance related to health services.
